Recreation Soccer
Spring Recreation Soccer is made up of our 5/6 and 7/8 age groups. This is a time of the season to get the kids and parents an idea of what soccer is about. The season starts mid April and runs to the middle of May. Practice and games happen on the same day during the week after 5pm. The teams will be matched up with a different team each day. For the first half hour each team will have time to practice as a team. The last part of the hour the teams will play each other in a match. If your child enjoys the spring session, be sure to sign them up for the fall season.
Fall Recreation Soccer is made up of a 5/6, 7/8, 9/11, and 12/14 age groups. This season is a more formal soccer season that starts in September. Each team will have time to practice during the week to prepare for Saturday morning matches. There will be six Saturdays set up for the teams to compete against each other. Coaches of the 5/6 age group will officiate their matches, and officials will be provided to the other age groups. During this time of the season, team and individual picture will be taken. We also try to provide a fundraiser to help support our association.
This is a fun and exciting sport for all the kids and parents involved.
